The last city I visited in the North Island was NZ's capitol city of Wellington. It is called the windy city and apparently has one of the hardest airports to take off or land in because of it's location and how the wind blows. Wellington is very pretty and fairly clean. It has lots of shops and restaurants, along with a nice wharf/harbor and gorgeous botanical gardens. It is also knows for it's Te Paupa museum. I ended up exploring taking the cable car up to the botanical gardens, especially interested in checking out a huge rose garden. I was not disappointed!

This place reminds me of the movie calamidy jane...I just blew in from the windy city!!! (I really hope you know what I am talking about) This place looks absolutely amazing and beautiful! I love all the pics
